In both 2015 and 2016, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) worked with Ripe to design their most important publication, their annual report. I served as the art director, lead designer and project manager for both editions of the 42-page annual report.
Along with leading a team of two designers to create design solutions consistent with the direction of the publication, I was also responsible for attending a press inspection to ensure print quality.
Both publications were recognized at the Association Trend Awards during their respective years.
I worked with NFWF to develop a design system that appealed to audiences quickly thumbing through the publication, as well as to readers with more time to pore over the details. Each case study was graphically rich, with at least one map or data visualization to help illustrate the project's scope. The longform content was paced out further with photography, pullquotes and ledes.
